Description

SKHP-400 is a two component, aliphatic polyurea elastomer system with high performance. This system is based on amine – functional aliphatic polyester resins, amine chain extenders and prepolymers. It provides an flexible, tough, resilient monolithic membrane with good UV resistance and water resistance. It not only reflects heat rays from sunlight during painting but also prevents the heat from being transferred to the inside, thereby showing an excellent insulation effect. It has excellent adhesion with the existing coating surface, weather resistance and chemical resistance. It is a premium coating that can remarkably reduce cooling/heating costs by making it difficult for the outside heat to be transferred to the inside and for the inside heat to come out at the same time due to its low thermal conductivity.

 

Uses

SKHP-400 is suitable for use on roofs and walls of factories, warehouses, houses, buildings, etc. and other places where insulation is required storage tanks for petrochemical products, grains, etc., various plants.

Coating Condition & Method

 

Drying Time

T.F.T. : < 60 min.

Full Service Use : > 72 hrs / 20℃

(To attain the final physical properties should be two weeks later)

 

Limitation

Apply when ambient temperature +5 ℃ ~ 35 ℃ Surface temperature must be at least +3 ℃ above dew point

Relative humidity must be less than 85% Don’t need preheating of A, B

Need to mix well A, B Component.

• Mixing ratio (A : B) = 1 : 1 (wt%)
• Theoretical coverage ratio :1.05Kg/m2
• Recommended Coating Thickness : @2mm
• One Layer Thickness : 300 ~ 800㎛

Self Life

The product has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry store in the original, unopened packs Store in dry, shaded conditions away from sources of heat and ignition

Surface Preparation

• Completely remove oil, moisture, sand, dust, and other foreign matter from the surface to be
• Sufficiently dry the surface to be coated before
• After primer coating, clean up the welded areas (blackened and rusted areas) with a disc sander. Then, touch up with this and continue coating.

Safety Precautions

As a general rule, avoid skin and eye contact by wearing overalls, gloves, goggles, and mask etc. Spillage on skin should immediately be removed by thorough washing with water and soap or suitable cleaner. Eye should be flushed with fresh water. Avoid inhalation of vapors and paint mist by wearing suitable mask. In the event of ingestion and eye contact, seek medical attention immediately. Coating must be carried out in well ventilated area. This product contains           flammable materials and should be kept away from the sparks and open flames, smoking in the area should not be permitted. Local safety regulations should be followed.
